Are you passionate to optimize the clinical trials in Oncology Drug Development? IDSWG Oncology Group is led by pharmaceutical statisticians while we aim at practical and cross functional impacts. Many ongoing activities have cross functional experts participating. Open Roles
- Late Phase Subteam Co-Leader. This role is responsible to define the Late Phase Subteam directions (e.g., impactful topics, external collaborations, conference presence) in collaboration with the other co-leader(s) and coordinate the deliverables.
- Seminar Presenters. In our regular IDSWG Oncology Group regular meetings (every 6 weeks), we allocate about 25 minutes for a topic presentation. The presenters can be invited experts or WG members. If you are interested in presenting, feel free to send a message to oncotrialdesign_AT_gmail.com.
- Biostat Bytes writers. In our regular newsletters, there is a panel for community education on the statistical terms related to the theme of the newsletter. We always seek volunteer writers. If you would like to contribute to the panel, please email us.

- IDSWG-Rutgers Summer Volunteer Program: Some students may join IDSWG as temporary volunteer contributors during summer. IDSWG subteams will match the topics and volunteer students based on their expertise. Students from statistics, biostatistics, data science or computer science fields are welcome to join. IDSWG may also organize coding workshops to jump start students, e.g., Large language models, image recognition, R Shiny, Python, etc. All work is under the working group and will be available publicly. The topics should be achievable in a short period of time. Refer to the mini-symposium page for a glance of this summer’s activities.
