Gina D’Angelo

Dr. Gina D’Angelo is Director, Oncology Statistical Innovation at AstraZeneca. She provides statistical leadership across early- to late-phase trials, contributing to strategic decisions in dose optimization, precision medicine, patient enrichment, and biomarker development. She has designed and consulted on numerous studies, advanced methodology for dose optimization and prognostic and predictive biomarkers, and authored 50+ publications. An active researcher and educator, she teaches biomarker and precision medicine courses (internally and at conferences), reviews for multiple journals, and is authoring several books on biomarkers and clinical trial design. She leads multiple precision medicine initiatives within AstraZeneca and across industry. Her experience spans discovery through late-phase development, working with small to high-dimensional data across diverse therapeutic areas.
