Dr. Jean Fan, MD, MSc, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer, TransThera Sciences, is a physician-scientist and global drug development leader with over 25 years of experience in oncology and immuno-oncology. She currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer at TransThera Sciences, Inc., where she leads global clinical development and regulatory affairs for targeted therapies across solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Dr. Fan has contributed to the development and approval of 10 innovative therapies and has held senior clinical leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, Eisai, Bristol Myers Squibb, GSK, and Blueprint Medicines. Her expertise spans translational science, biomarker-driven clinical development, clinical trial design and execution, and global regulatory strategy with major health authorities including the FDA, EMA, NMPA, and MHRA. Earlier in her career, she served as an investigator at the National Institutes of Health and completed postdoctoral training at Georgetown University. She earned her MD from Nanchang University Jiangxi Medical College and her MSc in Biophysics from Sun Yat-sen University.
